Loretta Ann (Edwards) Zinger

Of Castle Shannon, age 80; passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026; wife of the late Richard J. Zinger; loving mother of Angela(James) Walker, Sherry Hoelle, Michael Zinger and Rick(Nicole) Zinger; grandmother of Alex(Jillian) Wilamowski, Luke Hoelle, Anthony(Caroline) Hoelle, Alexis Walker, Gina(Zachary) Szmerekovsky and Jessica(Austin) Goley; great grandmother of Coast Goley and Elle Szmerekovsky; sister of the late George L. Edwards(surviving his wife, Barbara); aunt of Steve(Kathrine) Edwards and Elizabeth Edwards. 

Loretta was a small‑town girl who moved to Pittsburgh at the young age of 18, where she planted her roots in Castle Shannon and raised her family. She retired from FedEx after many years of dedicated service. Loretta loved bowling, playing cards, going to the casino, and enjoying board games with her family. Some of her greatest joys came from spending time with her grandchildren, cooking holiday meals, and being surrounded by those she loved. She was truly an angel here on earth, and heaven is undoubtedly a warmer and better place with her there.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 27th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park.
